MR. Gautam T Mehta has an Independent Chamber and in the Counsel practice since 2007.

He is known in the legal fraternity, practicing and appears as a Counsel in matters before Supreme Court of India, High Court at Bombay – Original and Appellate side jurisdictions, The Debt Recovery and Appellate Debt Recovery Tribunals - Mumbai; in matters relating to arbitration, property, banking, commercial and consumer disputes. Appears as Counsel in matters before Arbitral Tribunals. Appointed as Arbitrator in various matters by private parties since 2007, and also, by the High Court at Bombay. Did a short stint as a part time lecturer in Government Law College, Mumbai. Takes a keen interest in the spread of the practice of arbitration, and in dissemination of knowledge on arbitration.

Mr. Mehta is the Chairman of the Arbitration Committee of IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IMC) since the year 2016 and also a member of the Managing Committee of IMC.
